Potential Filming Locations
As I am out and about, I am constantly keeping a look out on potential locations where we could film for our music video; places that look interesting and would fit our vision/concept. As our song sounds very dark and mysterious we are thinking to film at night time and to focus on city lights and location. In these alley way we would need to use spot lights and equipment so we could see the artist as it would be too dark to film just on its own. Even though the song sounds spooky and dark, and the graffiti is bright, colourful and fun, we would use editing to get the grungy, urban look with colour washes and tints.
This specific location is where Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design is located, near Kings Cross. The Uni itself looks like a factory from the outside and right in-front of it, is water fountains that are continuously active and spraying water in different types of patterns. There is also a little lake, canal or something where water is streaming across and boats travel through. These are good features to use within the location as the artist can interact with the sprinkler fountains, we could add effects to it and also film her walking by the little lake and just do various things.
