Analysis

This is a previous candi students digipack. The images she has chosen for the front, back and middle of the digipack are all strong images and have good use of photography. The front picture is particularly strong as it is a nice close up, focusing on her face only, which is what  is expected to introduce a new artist to the music industry.  

The font she used is clear and easy to read even though it is swirly,which is a positive because it looks nice as well as being easy to read. 

Her use of colours are nice. She hasn't used loads of random colours, she has stuck to nude browns, creams, white and black. The colours match the sepia filter she has used for her images. The use of the sepia filter doesn't work well of an album cover but looks more like an image used for a film. Her advertisement in particular, looks more like an advertisement for a film.

She has followed the conventions of the back of an album cover well. She has included a bar code, her label image and writing of the people involved in the production of the album, which is something featured on all digipacks. 

Her advertisment is okay. The image is strong as it is the same as her album cover and she has featured the words 'THE NEW ALBUM' in the largest font, which makes it the most important and predominant feature. She has also included a website which is useful for her target audience because they are able to learn more about her, her music and other things she may be doing if they are interested. I feel that she could have included more such as where her album will be available to buy or some reviews from relevant magazines.
